About Arable

Prior to joining Arable, Jim spent 10 years at The Climate Corporation where he was VP of Product and grew the company to 50 million paid acres and built a team from 10 to over 600 individuals. Previous to The Climate Corporation, Jim worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where he led several high-profile engagements, including developing innovative financial analysis and fraud detection software products that became core drivers of revenue across PwC's lines of business. Jim has an A.B. in Computer Science and Economics from Duke University.

Madhur has over 15 years of experience working as a software quality assurance professional. Her vast experience working in startups centers on setting up processes from scratch, coordinating with multiple teams, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of the product. She has a Masters degree in telecom management from Pune University in India.

Oz brings to the role significant on-farm, agronomic and agriculture technology experience. Early in his career, he drove innovation for Israel's largest farming company as its Chief Agronomist and Head of Research & Development. Recently Oz worked in senior leadership roles scaling agtech startups including FieldIn and Phytec. His commitment to creating agronomic value for customers has improved these companies’ profitability while delivering sustainable growth. Oz holds advanced degrees in plant sciences and leadership from Hebrew University and Stanford University.

During the three decades of his tenure in the IT industry, Jagan worked on a wide range of platforms from embedded systems to mainframes. A vertical ERP solution he built has been in use for over two decades now. He enjoys building competent and motivated teams. He is passionate about sustainable lifestyles and manages a farm using permaculture principles. Jagan holds a master's in computer science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai.

Ron is a Silicon Valley veteran with over 20 years of product design experience. Prior to Arable, he was a founding member of several startups including Atheer Labs, where, as the VP of Hardware Engineering, he was responsible for the initial architecture and prototyping the world’s first mobile 3D interactive smart glasses. He has also worked at Eva Automation, SunReports, and AlphaSmart. Ron enjoys motorcycling, photography, and spending time with his family.

Felix has a B.A. in Agronomic Engineering from University of Buenos Aires. Prior to joining Arable, he worked within the agribusiness team at Banco Galicia before starting two farm management and advising companies in Argentina, DNA Agro and DNA Granos. In 2018, he founded Caburé Agtech, focused on building agro-meteorological networks across South America to enable decision-making for growers. In 2022 he joined the Arable team as the Commercial Director for LATAM.

Ademar brings to the role significant commercial, agronomic, and agriculture technology experience during his career. He began his career at Bunge Brasil where he held roles of increasing responsibility. He also worked at Bayer where he held the role of Business Director in the soybean area. More recently Ademar worked in senior leadership roles in scaling Agtechs startups, such as Zeus Agrotech. Ademar holds advanced degrees in Agronomy from the Federal University of Uberlândia, Business Management from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), and Executive Management from Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC).

Cedric has a deep background in international business development, and manages Arable's European and Middle Eastern markets. Early in his career, he worked in biotech, and later transitioned to precision farming. He is drawn to technical, innovative industries where he can make a difference, and he found that with Arable. He has a real passion for understanding the world better through travel, learning languages and encountering new cultures.

Jake has 20 years of experience developing intelligent sensing systems across a range of commercial and industrial markets. He currently serves as Sensor Systems Architect at Arable, developing novel in-field measurement systems for data-driven decisions in agriculture and natural resource management. Prior to Arable, Jake founded SensorNova, started SensorCloud.com, and served as VP Wireless Systems at MicroStrain.

Sunil has a M.Tech in Computer Sicence and Engineerig from IIT Chennai, India. He started his career with Wipro Ltd. He went on to found Synergy Infotech Pvt Ltd and later moved to Sonim Technologies. Other experience includes Parallocity India, Nav Innovations, and Itron India. He has been working in firmware and OS all along.

Jason calls himself an AstroAgriPhysicist, a nod to his diverse background in astrophysics, agriculture, and data science. He draws on his experience growing up on a farm in Iowa to inform how he applies his skills as a data scientist to help digitize the analog world of agriculture. Before joining Arable, he led a field sensing data science team at Corteva Agriscience that focused on using field data to produce machine learning algorithms built to classify, score, and measure phenotypic traits for plant breeding. Jason is passionate about improving human health, achieving economic stability, reducing our environmental footprint, and uplifting the lives of those who work in agriculture.

Brian started his career in public accounting before transitioning to industry. He has worked many early stage companies and enjoys working with startups and learning new technology. Having grown up on a farm near San Luis Obispo, he is happy to be working at the intersection of agriculture and technology at Arable. When not working Brain is trail-running with his dog, on the ski slopes, or searching for a good bottle of wine.

Kristie has a unique combination of technology startup, SaaS, and agricultural marketing. She has held marketing leadership roles at Plex, Purfresh, and Marrone Bio, and holds a Bachelor of Science from California State University, Fresno.

Chris brings more than 20 years of finance leadership to his CFO role at Arable, with deep experience working with high-growth, innovative SaaS companies. Most recently, he was responsible for all administrative activities at Strateos, a life sciences technology company. He previously served as VP Finance and Operations at data-driven healthcare provider Included Health, and prior to that was CFO at adtech company Flite (since acquired by Snap). Chris holds an MBA from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and a B.A. from the University of Michigan.

Girisha's careen spans a diverse range of domains, including ERP/CRM, Cyber Security, Telecom, AgriTech, and Smart Devices (IoT). With a strong foundation in analytical, strategic, and technical skills, he excels in driving innovation and building strong relationships at all organizational levels, with a particular focus on tech product design, software solutions, and translating visionary ideas into tangible results. He is also an avid permaculture practitioner deeply committed to sustainability and the connection with the natural world. He devotes a significant portion of his time to nurturing a small farm, where he applies permaculture principles to create a harmonious and regenerative ecosystem.

A software professional with two decades of experience, Rama is an expert in leading multi-site development across a range of products including custom Linux kernel servers, client server solutions, and Android-based rugged mobile devices. Prior to Arable, he has worked at Infosys, HP, IBM Software Labs, Kyocera Telecommunication and Sonim Technologies. He has several patents and disclosures in his name.

Vikrant has over 20 years of industry experience in product development through all phases, from requirements, architecture, and execution to the final delivery. He has deep expertise in embedded systems and application development, and has worked in various domains such as multimedia, consumer electronics, mobile, utilities, and public safety. Before joining Arable, he worked at Itron Inc, Aricent Technologies, and Motorola Solutions in various positions. He is passionate about the environment and will like to find innovative solutions to the challenges and help the company to achieve its goals.

Petru Stratan brings with him extensive expertise in precision farming technologies and agricultural management solutions, developed through rich experiences in both Europe and the United States. A driving force behind Metos Moldova and Metos USA, Petru excels in international business, honing his skills over a decade. Holding a Master's in Public Administration from the Academy of Public Administration and a Bachelor's in International Law from Moldova State University, Petru's educational background provides him with a unique perspective on the intersection of policy, legal frameworks, and technological innovation in agriculture. As the VP of Channel Solution Sales at Arable, he thrives on establishing robust distribution networks, fostering strategic alliances, and enhancing brand recognition. His dedication to driving growth and innovation in the agricultural technology industry is underscored by a proven track record and unwavering passion.

Zach Worden hails from California and brings a combination of traditional farming knowledge and modern ag technology expertise. Before joining Arable, Zach notably served as the Global Head of Agronomy and Compliance Sales at Agrian by TELUS Agriculture. His professional journey spans roles in client engagement, sales, and leadership, focusing on tailored solutions for the agriculture industry's needs. With a degree in Agriculture Business from Fresno State, Zach's approach is rooted in both hands-on experience and academic understanding, making him a key player in Arable's mission.

Hannah has deep operations experience and a proven track record for helping teams find new applications for data, machine learning, and robotics across food and agriculture. She is excited to contribute to the world’s continued progress toward a more productive and resilient food system. Prior to joining Arable, Hannah held leadership roles in operations, strategy, and consulting roles at Google, DoorDash, and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. She has a B.S. from the University of Virginia.
