Arable is Named a Finalist for Verizon Climate Resilience Prize
We are proud to share that Arable has been selected as one of four finalists for Verizon’s inaugural Climate Resilience Prize in the Leading-Edge Technology Solutions category.
The contest, sponsored by Verizon in partnership with GreenBiz Group and the Atlantic Council’s Adrienne Arsht-Rockefeller Foundation Resilience Center, aligns with the communications company’s commitment to renewable energy and net-zero operational emissions by 2035. Running for the first time, the competition serves as a way to recognize and propel companies with game-changing ideas that give everyone an equitable chance to thrive as the climate becomes more unpredictable.
To qualify, applicants demonstrated that they are ready to scale with solutions in the market that produce real-world results. In addition to being ready and able to make an impact, companies needed to fall into one of three categories (Frontline Community-Led Solutions and Nature-Based Solutions are the other two).
Being chosen as a Leading-Edge Technology Solutions finalist validates our mission of accelerating sustainable agriculture worldwide and affirms that we are on the right path with our products and services. The belief that high-fidelity data can transform the industry and make a positive mark on the food system is what brings us to work every single day. We are honored by the recognition.
